10KV transmission and distribution lines are the most commonly used voltage level lines in power systems. Due to the generally low insulation level of 10KV lines, they are difficult to withstand the effects of direct lightning strikes or induced lightning. Not only will they flashover and trip when lightning strikes the wires and tower tops, but also when lightning strikes surrounding trees or buildings, the induced voltage will be too high, causing flashover and insulation layer breakdown. The continuous power frequency arc will burn here, and the wires will be burned out in a very short time. At present, more and more 10KV distribution lines in major and medium-sized cities in China are using insulated conductors as overhead distribution lines, effectively solving the corridor and safety problems that are difficult to solve with bare conductors. Compared with underground cables, it has the advantages of low investment and fast construction. However, it also brings some new technical problems, one of which is lightning breakage during the operation of insulated conductors. Lightning breakage has become a safety problem faced by the power system. In order to address the shortcomings of existing technology, our company has newly developed and researched anti demand products such as the FEG-125 high-voltage lightning protection needle type composite insulator (divided into two types: piercing and non piercing) and high-voltage drop protection device. The above new products all have lightning protection function.
