Product Overview

Composite pillar insulators have good bending resistance, strong anti fouling ability, strong impact resistance, good shock and anti brittle fracture performance, small size, light weight, easy installation, maintenance free, no manual cleaning, and interchangeability with porcelain

Functional features

The composite insulator adopts metal fittings made of special steel, and the ends of the fittings adopt a maze design principle, with multi-layer protection and good sealing performance, solving the most critical problem of insulators - interface electrical breakdown. The connection between the metal fittings and the core rod adopts the most advanced computer-controlled coaxial constant pressure crimping process internationally, and is equipped with a fully automatic acoustic emission testing system to ensure the reliability and stability of the connection between the metal fittings and the core rod. The core rod adopts ERC high-temperature acid resistant rod, and the interface between the core rod and silicone rubber is coated with special coupling agent. The umbrella cover adopts a one-time integral molding process under high temperature and high pressure. The two-stage vulcanization process with computer monitoring has extended the service life of the product.

Installation precautions

(1) Insulators should be handled with care to avoid friction and collision with sharp and hard objects such as iron parts and tools.
(2) When lifting the product, the knot should be tied to the end attachment, and it is strictly prohibited to tie it to the umbrella group or sheath. When the rope must touch the umbrella group and sheath, it should be wrapped in soft cloth at the contact part
(3) It is strictly prohibited to step on the insulator umbrella group.
(4) Composite insulators should not be used as auxiliary tools for laying out to avoid damage to the insulators due to impact or bending. (5) When installing the equalizing ring, attention should be paid to adjusting the equalizing ring to be installed perpendicular to the axis. For open type equalizing rings, it should be noted that the opening direction at both ends is consistent, which is beneficial for discharge and protection of umbrella groups
